The Miracle League of Western New York hosted Sabres and Sabres Alumni Night at the Miracle League.  Current and former Sabres came out to play and assist the Miracle League players in a game of baseball.  After the game the Sabres and Sabres Alumni spent some time taking photos and signing autographs. 

The Miracle League is designed to serve people who cannot be accommodated by established baseball leagues due to the special needs of their disabilities. The vision of the program is to provide any disabled child or person, regardless of their level of disability, the opportunity to play league sports and enjoy the emotional and physical benefits of being part of a team sport. 

the field is located in Veterans Park on Grand Island and the Sabres and Sabres Alumni were major contributors in getting the field built.
